The Victoria Falls is one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The Local people call it “Mosi-oa-Tunya” — the smoke that thunders and the Falls are remarkable.  You will witness spectacular column of spray when the river is high, the thunder of the falling water, the terrifying abyss and tranquil lagoons upstream in which hippo and deadly crocodiles lurk. The Victoria falls is 1,700 meters wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the world. It drops between 90m and 108m into the Zambezi Gorge and an average of 550,000 cubic meters of water plummet over the edge every minute.

DAY 1: VICTORIA FALLS

Arrive at Victoria Falls. meet or representative and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure to explore the quaint town of Vic Falls, or relax around the hotel swimming pool.

DAY 2: VICTORIA FALLS

Enjoy a morning tour of Victoria Falls, beginning with the famous Livingstone Baobab tree, thought to be about 1,500 years old. Viewpoints are situated along the falls, so you can see Livingstone Island, Devil’s Cataract and Danger Point, to name a few . Return to town for free time at the local craft markets. Zimbabwe is well known for it’s stone and wooden handwork. In the afternoon enjoy river for a relaxing sundowner cruise on the Zambezi river. Drinks and snacks are included. There is a good chance to see hippo and crocodile along the banks of the river, as well as elephant, buffalo and many aquatic birds.

DAY 3: FLIGHT HOME

Free morning. OPTIONAL 15 minutes helicopter flight over the falls and the area. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Johannesburg and continue on a flight back home.
