Day 1 – Arrival Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, Kenya. After passing through customs, your driver guide, and your waiting team from JACKO AFRICA SAFARIS will escort you to your hotel, Nairobi Serena Hotel. Rest of the day is spent at leisure. Evening transfer to Safari Park Hotel for dinner at the Nyama Choma Ranch Restaurant.

Day 2 – Nairobi –Aberdare Region
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive north past Thika, an industrial town surrounded by extensive pineapple plantations, partially owned by Del Monte Company. After crossing the Tana River source of Kenya’s hydroelectric power, the landscape changes to lush farmland of the Kikuyu people. Lunch at Aberdare Country Club. After lunch, transfer in club special vehicle to the Ark Lodge, your tree hotel, where the night is spent watching different animals as they come to visit the floodlit waterhole and saltlick. Elephants, Rhino, Buffalo, Giant Forest Hog, Leopard and many other species frequent the waterhole.

Day 3 – Aberdare Region -Lake Nakuru National Park (Great Rift Valley)
Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, and arrive in time for lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Relax briefly before departing for an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. It is found on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The sight of millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance, the soda lake appears ringed in pink. The lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered animal species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe, the Black Rhino and the White Rhino. Lions, Waterbuck, Buffalo and Baboons are resident here.

Day 4 – Nakuru –Masai Mara Game reserve
Enjoy an early breakfast, check out and proceed to Masai Mara. A pleasant drive across the dramatic Great Rift Valley brings you through Narok Township, (the major Masai administrative centre) to one of the stellar events of your safari – Kenya’s most precious wildlife sanctuary. You have come to big game country, long famed as having one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of game. Lunch at your lodge – Mara Serena Lodge or Mara Sarova Tented Camp. Masai Mara is famously known for its spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration and is home to the big Five -Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Cape Buffalo and Leopard. Afternoon game drive.

Day 5 & 6 – Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve
We spend two days in the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Large mammals are varied, abundant and easy to see. Residents among the park’s mammals are; Masai Giraffe, Eland, Topi and thousands of plain Game including Impala, Zebra, both Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelles.

Day 7 – Mara-Nairobi
After breakfast, return by road to Nairobi arriving at lunch time. Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant or Chinese Restaurant. After lunch, proceed to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international home-bound flight.
