ITINERARY

DAY 1: CAPE TOWN to OUDTSHOORN

Drive along Route 62 towards Oudtshoorn, a picturesque route that with contrasting views of the Western and Eastern Cape. Visit ostrich farm and learn about this large, flightless and exotic ostrich. For the brave ones, enjoy an optional ostrich ride. Enjoy some leisure time at the lodge, or participate in an optional game drive (own account).

DAY 2: OUDTSHOORN to KNYSNA

Have an opportunity to experience an Elephant Interaction (not included in tour rate) as well as to feed the African elephants that were all raised at the lodge. Visit the Cango Caves, a 20 million year old natural treasure at the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains and continue over the Outeniqua Pass. We stop is in Wilderness to take photo opportunities and spoilt views at Map of Africa lookout point (weather permitting). Continue Knysna and check into hotel before going on a Sunset Knysna Oyster Cruise (weather permitting), to see the wild Knysna oyster.

DAY 3: KNYSNA to PLETTENBERG BAY & TSITSIKAMA NATURE RESERVE

Travel to Plettenberg Bay. From Lookout Beach take an Ocean Safari (weather permitting), have a chance to watch whale, dolphin and seal. Continue along the beautiful coastal road to Tsitskama Nature Reserve. We stop at Storms River. Walk on the suspension bridge of the Storms River Mouth.

DAY 4: KNYSNA to PORT ELIZABETH via TSITSIKAMMA FOREST

Stop by Storm River Bridge and see the highest Bungee jumps from the bridge. Continue to Mokeyland, a huge cage, a collection of monkeys from around the world and the nearby Birds of Eden cage, also a large collection of birds from around the world. Arrive at Port Elizabeth in the late afternoon where you will be dropped off at your Port Elizabeth hotel or Port Elizabeth International Airport (BB)

OPTIONAL
Add day & night at Oudtshoorn to visit the Black Mountain in Swartberg Mountain where you can most spectacular phenomena of rocks colors change from brown to dark, reflection of the sun rays.
