    Day 1 – JOHANNESBURG

    Mpumalanga tours

    Arrive Johannesburg and meet your guide. Continue to Mpumalanga and visit Mac Mac Falls, two falls with beautiful views and from there to Graskop. A small town situated in the magnificent Mpumalanga Province touristic region and a gateway to the Panorama Route. It’s one of those one street towns with many restaurants and craft shops. Graskop hotel is a unique artistic experience offering friendly hospitality, contemporary South African art in a variety and unique South African food to be remembered.

    Day 2 – PANORAMA ROUTE – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

    A day tour of the Panorama Route. Visit the scenic gorge with the Pinacle Rock and God’s Window. Continue to Bourk’s Luck Potholes. The potholes were named after a gold digger, Tom Burke who staked a claim nearby. Although his claim didn’t produce a single ounce of gold, he correctly predicted that large gold deposits would be found in the area. This natural water feature marks the beginning of Blyde River Canyon. Through countless eons the swirling whirlpools which occur as the Treur River plunges into the Blyde River caused waterborne sand and rock to grind huge, cylindrical potholes into the bedrock of the river. We next stop at the Three Rondawels viewpoint for a spectacular view of the canyon and dam. We enter the world’s famous Kruger National Park. One of the most famous and oldest National Park in the world, founded by Paul Kruger in 1898 and is South Africa’s most exciting destination.

    Day 3 – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

    Kapama Game Reserve
    Early wake up for an early safari game drive. Continue to Kapama Private Game Lodge, arriving mid. day for lunch. Here at the large reserve Have a chance to spot the Big 5: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. At 15:30 enjoy tea and depart for a safari drive in 4×4 with qualified ranger and expert tracker to discover the wildlife in the African bush. See the African sunset sky turn to sensational vibrant reds-gold-orange. As darkness falls, the tracker scans the landscape with spotlight for the night wildlife. Return to the lodge for sumptuous dinner.

    Day 4 – KAPAMA PRIVATE RESERVE – SWAZILAND

    Early wakeup call and gather for coffee & tee for an early safari drive. If you are lucky, big cats may still be around before sun rise. The reserve is known for the rich wildlife of birds and mammals. Return to the camp for a sumptuous breakfast.
    Travel to Swaziland via Hazyview, Nelspruit, Malelane and enter Swaziland at Pigg’s peak border. Swaziland is the smallest country in Africa with one of the last remaining monarchies. Travel to Mbabane through Pigg’s Peak on our way to Ezulwini and Malkems Valleys.

    Day 5 – SWAZILAND – MKUZE

    Shakaland ZululandSwaziland of today was born out of an ancient dynasty of royal leadership. This is reflected in the status given to the king and Queen Mother in a unique dual monarchy.

    Drive past the National Stadium and parliament buildings on our way to Manzini, the county’s industrial centre. Visit the King Sobhuza II Memorial Park, national museum introducing to you the history of the Swazi culture, the origins, routines and traditional clothing. Visit the known Swazi Candles factory in Melkerns and the art & crafts market in Ezulwini Valley. Drive to Big Bend on the Golela Border Post. Interesting drive through African villages. Cross the border to Kwa-Zulu Natal’s Elephant Coast, one of South Africa’s conservational gems, rich collection of indigenous and fauna, traditional Zulu culture and wildlife.

    Day 6 – HLUHLUWE – SHAKALAND

    Early morning game drive in Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Situated in the heart of Zululand, the oldest game reserve in Africa where Zulu kings like Dingiswayo and Shaka (remember the movie ?) hunted and established first conservation laws, where today the “big fiv” of Africa roam freely in the savannah. Established in 1895. The park became world renowned white rhino conservation. Continue to Shakaland, in the heart of Zululand, between Eshowe and Melmoth, on top of Entombeni Hills, overlooking Phobane Lake. Re-live the romance of Shaka’s days, King of the Zulus in authentic recreation of Great Kraal. Learn about the history of the Zulu people, their homesteads, how they make grass mats, beaded onments and traditional clothes. Watch the assegai-wielding warriors, share fascinating secrets of the Sangomas and traditional customes, tribal dancing, spear making and beer-drinking ceremonies.

    Day 7 – DURBAN – PORT ELIZABETH

    Travel to Durban for a panoramic city tour before going to King Shaka Durban airport for a flight to Port Elizabeth.Arrive Port Elizabeth and transfer to hotel.

    Day 8 – STORMS RIVER – TSITSIKAMMA – KNYSNA

    Travel to Tsitskamma National Park, an area of the Garden Route National Park, on South Africa’s southern coast. It encompasses a marine reserve, deep gorges and local vegetation like the Big Tree, a towering yellowwood. The Mouth Trail crosses a suspension bridge over Storms River. The Otter Trail leads to Nature’s Valley, with birds including the Cape batis. The park is also home to small mammals, including bush pigs. Stop at Storms River Bloukrans Bridge the entrance to the Garden Route. From the bridge are the highest Bungee jumps at 216 metres. Continue to Monkeyland, the world’s first free roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary. Monkeyland has as one of its aims, to create awareness about the plight of primates and to show that with a greater understanding of our primate cousins, that we can all live in harmony. Also visit Birds of Eden Birds of Eden’s unique two hectare dome (the World’s largest) spans over a gorge of indigenous forest. The sanctuary has its own mysterious ruin, which incorporates a walk-behind waterfall.

    Day 9 – KNYSNA

    Take a cruise to the Featherbed Reserve. Your guide will tell you fascinating stories about the lagoon, the early shipping industry and oyster cultivation. Take an OPTIONAL (not included in tour rate) 4×4 drive to the top of the Western Head and an optional 2 km downhill walk enjoying the spectacular views. Visit Plattenberg Bay area and return to Knysna.

    Day 10 – OUDTSHOORN

    Cango Caves
    Travel to Oudtshoorn a town renown for Ostrich feather industry. Visit Wildlife Cango Ranch, an endangered species breeding facility. The oldest and biggest Cheetah contact centre worldwide for a rare opportunity of interacting with Cheetahs. Continue Safari Ostrich Farm to learn about Ostrich farming and breeding. The brave ones can take a ride on an Ostrich.

    Day 11 – OUDTSHOORN – MOSSEL BAY – CAPE TOWN

    Travel to Mossel Bay to visit Dias Museum where you will see the “Old Post Office Tree”, a 500 years old Milkwood tree used by 15th century Portuguese sailors as a mail box. The replica boat used by Diaz to sail to South Africa. Visit the Shell Museum, the largest collection of shells from around the world. Continue to Cape Town.

    Day 12 – CAPE TOWN

    Cape Town Tour packagesVisit up Table Mountain by cablecar (weather permitting) world famous landmark rises 1,086 metres. From here unfold spectacular view of the city and Ocean. Continue on a panoramic tour of the City Centre, house of parliament, City Hall, Castle of Good Hope, Company Gardens, South African Museum, Jewish Museum, the “Bo Kaap” known as the Malay Quarter and Green Market. Visit the V & A Waterfront, unique shopping centre, restaurants and activities. Visit the Two Oceans Aquarium displaying the Atlantic Ocean Gallery, Indian Ocean Gallery, I&J Predator Exhibit, the Sappi River Meander, and Kelp Forest Exhibit. As you walk between galleries, you’ll be delighted to see sharks, penguins, seahorses, jellyfish, and too many fish species to count.

    Day 13 – CAPE PENINSULA

    Take a half-hour boat trip to Duiker Island to see a Cape Fur Seal colony. Continue on Chapman’s Peak Drive (if open), renowned as one of the most stunning roadways in the world. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve, the tip of the Cape Peninsula that has captivated travelers for centuries with its dramatic scenery and fascinating history. The return journey to Cape Town takes us along False Bay coast to visit the colony of rare African Penguins Colony at the Boulders. We pass through the naval village of Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. We then visit the world-famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, world renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora it displays and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain.

    Day 14 – WINELANDS – STELLENBOSCH – FRANCHHOEK – JOHANNESBURG

    Travel to the Winelands. Visit Wine Estates cellars, and have the opportunity for wine tasting. Continue to Stellenbosch charming town hosting famous university and continue to Franchhoek to visit the Huguenot Monument commemorating the French Huguenots settlers in the Cape. Return to Cape Town for a flight to Johannesburg.

    Day 15 – VICTORIA FALLS

    Victoria falls tours
    Flight to Victoria Falls. Meet your guide and go for a relaxing sundowner cruise on the Zambezi river. Drinks and snacks are included. There is a good chance to see hippo and crocodile along the banks of the river, as well as elephant, buffalo and many aquatic birds.

    Day 16 – VICTORIA FALLS – JOHANNESBURG

    Enjoy a morning tour of the Falls, one of the seventh’s world wonders. En-route see the famous Livingstone Baobab Big Tree, thought to be about 1500 years old. Breath taking view of the falls, the rainforest, flora, fauna, birds & wildlife. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Johannesburg and back home.
